Firstly security.

A house sitter who is on site 24/7 or at least a great deal of the time is an effective deterrent against either opportunistic or planned home invasion. Night only sitters do not deter daytime crime!

Secondly, TLC.

Your kitties and pooches are pampered, get to stay at home and you avoid costly kennels.

Thirdly. Peace of Mind.

(Which you can't put a price to) The house sitter is your caretaker. With today's technology, the house owner has 24/7 access to the sitter via SMS, voice links and video.

It is true that house sitting is a responsibility to watch over someone else's home. Yet, we have discovered that the joy of our assignments often comes from connecting with other people, and occasionally other cultures.

Each assignment brings its own rewards and sometimes a life-changing experience. As the majority of our sitters are retired people, the value of getting out and meeting other people together with purposeful activity cannot be under estimated.
